Nepal Landslide :-
Nepal Landslide:- Two busses carrying 63 people were swept into the Trishuli River early this morning by a landslide that occurred on the Madan-Ashrit Highway in Nepal. The incident, which involved the Ganpati Deluxe and the Angel bus headed for Kathmandu, happened about three in the morning when there was a lot of rain in the area.
The buses were traveling down the highway when the landslide struck, forcing them off the road and into the roaring river below, according to Indradev Yadav, the Chief District Officer of Chitwan, who spoke to ANI.
“63 persons in total, including the bus drivers, were being transported by two buses, according to preliminary information. Approximately 3:30 am, the buses were overtaken by a landslide. A search is currently taking place at the scene of the event. Our efforts to look for the missing buses are being hampered by the constant rain,” Yadav told ANI.
All government agencies were instructed by Nepal’s prime minister, Pushpa Kamal Dahal, also known as “Prachanda,” to look for and rescue the travelers.
